The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Virginia Tech presents Dr. Terry Kershaw, Associate Professor of Africana Studies and Director of the Race and Social Policy Research Center. Dr. Kershaw will present the Scholar Activist Model as part of the Cultural Ergonomics Class on "Cultures of Science and Ways of Knowing".

The fundraiser will be both a car-wash and yard sale. It will start at 8 am and go on until 2 pm. The majority of the funds raised that day will help out with some costs for HFES members traveling to San Francisco for the Annual Meeting in October.
