Friday, April 30: Laura Wojcik, Ph.D.

Dr. Laura Wojcik specializes in biomedical and mechanical engineering, with specific expertise in injury biomechanics, the biomechanics of balance and falls, the effects of aging on the musculoskeletal and central nervous systems, sports biomechanics, kinematic and kinetic analyses of rigid body systems, and modeling and numerical simulation of dynamic systems. Her Ph.D. and M.S.E. are in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. She also has a BSME from Michigan State University.

Monday, April 12: Kimberly A. Monroe, Ph.D.

Dr. Monroe has over 12 years of occupational ergonomic experience as a consultant, researcher, and corporate ergonomist for Fortune 500 companies. Her experience includes work in a variety of industries including semi-conductor, grocery warehouse and distribution, electrical/electronic assembly and retail/garment industries. Dr. Monroe is currently an independent ergonomic consultant. Her firm, KM Ergonomics, LLC, was started in 2000 and is based in Boulder, Colorado. She has a MSE and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BSIE from North Carolina State University.
